I’ve been quite busy the last few months. One of the projects that has taken a fair amount of time is BeatKeeper - my first application for the Windows Store.

I’ve been following the work of Bill for some time, and finally got around to reading his book. While this is not a review, I’d like to share some thoughts.

I love the minimalistic design direction of Windows 8. But it does have it’s minor visual annoyances, and what what irks me the most, though, are the borders. Window borders in Windows 8 have exactly the same thickness as Windows 7.
